We are currently hiring for several key roles:
- Commercial Producing Professional – Drive new business, manage client relationships, and place tailored insurance solutions.
- Broker / Placing Specialist – Negotiate with insurers, structure competitive policies, and deliver exceptional service to our clients.
- Claims Manager / Claims Handling Expert – Guide clients through claims processes, ensure smooth settlements, and safeguard their interests.
What We Are Looking For:
- Education and/or Experience:
- A relevant HBO degree (Bachelor of Applied Sciences) in Insurance, Risk Management, Business, Law, Finance, Logistics, or Maritime Studies;
- and/or professional experience in insurance brokerage or claims handling, preferably in shipping, cargo, transport, logistics, energy & offshore.
- Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, excellent negotiation skills, and sound judgment in complex risk scenarios.
- Languages: Excellent communication in English and Dutch; German is a plus.
- Relevant certifications:
- For Rotterdam-based Brokerage and Commercial Producing roles: WFT Basis and WFT Schade Zakelijk (or willingness to obtain).
- For Hamburg-based Brokerage and Commercial Producing roles: Geprüfte/r Fachmann/-frau für Versicherungsvermittlung (IHK) or equivalent (or willingness to obtain).
- Not required for Claims roles.
- Legal/Regulatory Knowledge: Strong familiarity with insurance law and regulatory frameworks is preferred and directly enhances senior decision-making and client advisory.
- Professional Qualities: A collaborative professional with a client-first mindset and the autonomy to drive outcomes.
