As a Maritime Insurance Broker, you will specialise in providing maritime insurance solutions to our (potential) clients. Your responsibilities will include managing existing business activities and assisting in expanding our presence within the Netherlands and throughout Europe. Working collaboratively with our team, we cater to the needs of major global companies, enabling them to focus on their core operations.
Your passion for the maritime industry and knowledge of the insurance market will keep you up to date with the latest digital advancements. This knowledge will allow you to offer optimal advice to clients in your portfolio. You will also negotiate with select insurers to find the most suitable solutions for our clients. Drawing upon your experience, you will adeptly navigate complex quotation processes.
You possess the following qualities:
• You are commercially driven, proactive, eager to learn, and possess excellent communication skills.
• Ideally, you have acquired relevant work experience in this field.
• You have a strong command of both the Dutch and English language.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
• Managing the portfolio of corporate client relationships, offering proactive advice and support on all insurance matters while tailoring policies to their specific needs.
• Establishing direct communication channels with (international) insurers to deliver customised solutions for your clients.
• Continuously seeking opportunities for process optimisation and implementing improvements in work methods.
• Contributing to the administrative organisation within the team.
